At Dr Jocelyn Wu Eye Specialist Clinic, we provide comprehensive chalazion treatment, chalazion surgery, and eyelid procedures. Our clinic offers personalized ophthalmology care for patients experiencing eyelid swelling, eyelid lumps, stye, eyelid cysts, recurrent chalazion, and other common eyelid conditions.
A chalazion is a blocked oil gland in the eyelid that can cause a painless eyelid lump, swelling, redness, irritation, tenderness, watery eyes, or blurred vision when enlarged. Some chalazia improve with warm compresses and medication, while persistent or recurrent chalazion may require minor eyelid surgery for complete treatment.
Dr Jocelyn Wu provides detailed eyelid assessment and individualized treatment plans using modern ophthalmology techniques to help relieve symptoms, improve eyelid appearance, and reduce recurrence risk. We focus on safe, comfortable, and minimally invasive eyelid procedures with careful post-treatment follow-up care.
Persistent, enlarged, or recurrent chalazion may need further ophthalmic evaluation to determine whether conservative care is enough or whether chalazion surgery (incision & curettage) is more suitable.
